FranceUTAC Group of Linas, France has launched two new testing services targeted at new vehicles, particularly robot taxis, shuttles, buses, and trucks, which are installed with artificial intelligence and/or with automated driving systems.

The company has launched two new services designed for the evaluation, verification, and benchmarking of AI-powered systems. The first service is more general, applying Euro NCAP and other testing scenarios to vehicles equipped with artificial intelligence – for example, with systems such as intelligent adaptive cruise control. UTAC says that such systems may suffer from weaknesses such as repeatability, robustness against limits, or risks of overfitting, which can impair their ability to respond correctly to the driving situation.
