Gillig to supply 476 CNG buses to Dallas

USA - Heavy-duty transit bus manufacturer, GILLIG LLC, based in Livermore, California, has won a contract with the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) agency to supply 476 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses. Deliveries will be completed by Spring 2026 before the region serves as host to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. USD 103 million of the purchase price has been funded by a U.S. Federal grant funding scheme. This order is part of DART's Transform program, which aims to modernise its transit system over the next decade.
