EKA signs MOU with KPIT Technologies to produce EV components and systems

EKA Mobility teams up with KPIT Technologies for EV components
India - EKA Mobility, the brand name of electric vehicle builder, Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Pvt Ltd of Pune (a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries Ltd) and Pune-based KPIT Technologies Ltd1 have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop advanced electric powertrain components for commercial vehicles.
The companies state the partnership is to focus on creating traction motors, controllers, vehicle control units, and battery management systems. This collaboration leverages KPIT's expertise in mobility to enhance EKA Mobility's electric buses and vehicles, improving energy efficiency, reducing total cost of ownership (TCO), and delivering a superior driving experience.
