An update on the Jost and Aitonomi TeleRetail partnership

Jost supports Aitonomi

Germany – Last year at the IAA Transportation 2024 event, German truck and trailer components company JOST Werke SE based in Neu-Isenburg, announced an update on its three-year collaboration with Aitonomi TeleRetail, a start-up specialising in autonomous, electrically powered transport systems. These autonomous transport systems include self-driving electric trucks and delivery robots, powered by its proprietary AutoPilot software. JOST and Aitonomi are collaborating on integrating JOST's automatic comfort coupling system (KKS) and steering and axle systems with Aitonomi's AutoPilot, creating fully autonomous transport solutions for depots and port terminals.

To further support Aitonomi's strategic growth targets, JOST has provided a CHF 2.5 million convertible loan to be repaid by January 1, 2026, deepening the two companies' strategic partnership. This investment aims to drive technological transformation in the transport industry by developing new, intelligent solutions that combine fully autonomous, electrically powered transportation systems with artificial intelligence and robotics.
