Irizar ie tram available through central purchasing group in France

France / Spain – Bus and Coach manufacturer, Irizar eMobility of Aduna, Spain announced that its ie tram electric buses are now available through a central purchasing group in France, the Centrale d'Achat du Transport Public (CATP), which is in the French Central Purchasing Office for Public Transport. The entity has included both the 12 and 18-metre versions of the Irizar ie tram in its catalogue. This inclusion allows French public entities to procure these buses directly through CATP without initiating their own tender processes, making it easier to procure.
This development aims to streamline the acquisition process for public transport operators in France, facilitating easier access to Irizar's zero-emission vehicles. The Irizar ie tram, is available in 12 and 18-metre articulated versions and combines the capacity and accessibility of a tram with the flexibility of a bus.
