Platform Science to integrate Cummins’ connected services in new “vehicle health” app

USA – In March, Platform Science Inc of San Diego, California announced a partnership with engine and powertrain firm Cummins Inc of Columbus, Indiana to launch a new “vehicle health” platform for remote diagnostics and over-the-air updates.

The partners’ new ‘Vehicle Health Intelligence’ application will integrate Cummins’ own ‘Connected Solutions’ service with the Californian tech company’s ‘Virtual Vehicle’ platform. By registering with Virtual Vehicle, operators will be able to access engine data insights, diagnostics, and updates via the Vehicle Health Intelligence app.
