Mack Trucks partners with Allison to simplify vehicle diagnostics and repair

USA – At the American Trucking Association’s Technical & Maintenance Council annual meeting, held between 10-13 March in Nashville, Tennessee, Mack Trucks Inc announced a partnership with supplier Allison Transmission Inc to integrate Allison’s diagnostics in Mack’s service and maintenance offering, simplifying the vehicle repair process for Mack customers.

From the latter part of Q2 2025, Mack’s telematics service, ‘GuardDog Connect’, will incorporate Allison’s diagnostics data in its predictive maintenance feature. Rather than receiving service alerts from Allison and contacting the relevant service provider separately, the customer will now deal directly with Mack’s service agents to resolve any issues with their Allison transmission. Mack and Allison will work together “behind the scenes” to ensure that the customer receives support from a single source.
