Mellor launches second generation of Strata buses

UK – Mellor Bus of Rochdale, UK has launched a new generation of accessible buses under the ‘Strata’ name, providing improved accessibility and greater interior room for up to thirty passengers in its largest configuration.
The second-generation Strata succeeds the former model, which was launched in 2016. Built on the Mercedes ‘Sprinter’ platform, it features a low entry with a raised rear saloon which is now accessed via a single step instead of two. Head room in the rear portion of the bus has thus been increased by an extra 100mm, while the low entry area is 266mm longer than before, allowing for four extra seats in this part of the vehicle.
