Daimler Coaches set to open servicing centre in Jacksonville, Florida

USA – Daimler Coaches North America Inc, (a subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG) based in Fort Mill, South Carolina, has announced it is expanding its footprint in Florida with the development of a new pre-delivery inspection and service centre in Jacksonville. The facility will be designed to support the customisation and maintenance of Mercedes-Benz Tourrider coaches for the North American market. The project encompasses a 43,000-square-foot, two-story main building featuring service bays, office spaces, training rooms, and storage areas. Additionally, a facility will house a separate maintenance and parts storage warehouse. The estimated investment for the project is approximately USD15.5 million.
Strategically situated near Interstates 10, 295, and 95, the location offers logistical advantages and access to a skilled workforce. The facility aims to enhance Daimler's ability to modify imported vehicles to meet American standards and customer specifications.
