FAW Jiefang signs agreement with South Korean partner

FAW’s truck range available in South Korea

South Korea / China - FAW Jiefang Group Company Ltd, the commercial vehicle unit of Chinese state-owned automaker FAW Group headquartered in Changchun City, has signed a distribution agreement with an unnamed South Korean company, according to reports in China.

The memorandum of understanding, signed in early April, is described as a new step in the Chinese truck-maker’s global strategy. The two parties have agreed to establish a long-term strategic partnership focused on the local distribution and sale in South Korea of FAW Jiefang trucks imported from China, including technical collaboration and local market development.
