Volvo expands distribution network in Western Australia

AustraliaVolvo Group Australia of Wacol, Queensland has more than doubled the size of its distribution network in the country following the acquisition of Truck Centre Western Australia, a formerly independent retailer based in Perth.

After acquiring the company for an undisclosed sum, Volvo has expanded its network by eight locations, growing its total number of distribution sites in the country to fourteen. The transaction will take place in the third quarter of this year, subject to approval. Over 300 people are expected to transfer to work under Volvo following completion.
