TI Fluid Systems to merge with ABC Technologies

UK / USATI Fluid Systems plc, a supplier of thermal management and fluid systems based in Oxford, UK, has been acquired by Canadian automotive parts firm ABC Technologies, which plans a merger to form a single company called ‘TI Automotive’.

The acquisition, announced late last year, was completed for a sum of over GBP1.8bn. Following the merger of the two companies, TI Automotive will move to TI Fluid Systems’ original home in Auburn Hills, Michigan, where it was founded in 1922 (as “Harry Bundy & Co”). The combined company will have an annual turnover of USD5.4bn and 34,600 employees in 26 countries.
