Flexis makes UK debut at the 2025 CV Show

Flexis Step-in-van

UK / FranceFlexis SAS’* (the JV between Renault SA, CMA CGM and AB Volvo) displayed its new electric Step-in Van at the 2025 CV Show in Birmingham. The van features a unique design with front sliding doors and a rear shutter, allowing drivers to stand upright inside the vehicle. The van is built on a “native electric skateboard platform” manufactured at Renault’s factory in Sandouville, France. Series production is planned to start in 2026, with the order book set to open by the end of this year.

The van features an 800v battery system that allows charging from 15% to 80% in less than 20 minutes and has a range of up to 450 km (280 miles). The electric motor is supplied by Valeo. We spoke to representatives at the show, who described the van as a “software-defined vehicle”, enabling features like predictive maintenance and intelligent routing. Flexis claims to have already secured letters of intent from ten European transport and distribution companies, including Colis Privé, HIVED, and DB Schenker, totalling a potential demand of 15,000 vehicles over the next three years.
