SAF-Holland to begin production of Haldex brake calipers in Turkey

Germany / Turkey – SAF-Holland SE of Bessenbach, Bavaria, Germany has announced that it is expanding production capacity in Turkey with the addition of a new production line, which will assemble Haldex brake components for the local market.
SAF-Holland’s location in the city of Düzce currently produces trailer axle and suspension systems from its ‘Intra’ series; in late 2023, the site celebrated the production of its 250,000th axle. Now, a new production line is being installed in a building which measures a total of 7,500 square metres. This line will produce ‘ModuIT’ brake calipers from Swedish brand Haldex, which SAF-Holland acquired over two years ago.
