Marc Llistosella, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Knorr-Bremse AG
Germany – After a positive set of 2024 / 2025 Financial Year results, commercial vehicle brake and components manufacturer, Knorr-Bremse AG, based in Munich, Germany, has announced the early renewal of CEO Marc Llistosella’s contract, extending his tenure until December 2030. The contract extension was unanimously approved by the Supervisory Board as the company seeks to ensure continuity in its leadership.
Llistosella, who assumed the CEO role in January 2023, has been instrumental in driving the company's BOOST 2026 strategy, focusing on profitability, sustainable growth, and long-term value creation. As part of its “Boost 2026” strategy, Knorr-Bremse divested several non-core businesses in 2024, including GT Emissions Systems, R.H. Sheppard Co Inc., and a majority stake in Kiepe Electric GmbH, while retaining a 15% share in the latter. It also expanded its global footprint with a new manufacturing plant in Dalian, China, aimed at boosting its commercial vehicle brake system output. Looking ahead, Knorr-Bremse projects revenues between EUR 8.1 billion and EUR 8.4 billion for fiscal year 2025.
