Don-Bur continues partnership with Gregory Distribution

UK – British trailer and bodybuilder, Don-Bur Bodies & Trailers Ltd, based in Stoke-on-Trent, has received an order for a bespoke batch of ten custom-built rigid curtainsider bodies from Gregory Distribution tailored for its pallet operations across Devon and Cornwall. Mounted on 16-tonne Volvo FL chassis, these vehicles are designed to navigate the region's challenging road infrastructure and landscape. Production of these bespoke bodies is underway at Don-Bur’s manufacturing facility in Stoke-on-Trent, with deliveries expected later this year.
Don-Bur said that it engineered narrower bodies featuring reinforced roofs that slope upwards from the front. This design deflects overhanging branches, reducing damage to front corner cappings and headers, thereby minimising repair and maintenance costs and downtime. Additionally, the aerodynamic profile contributes to improved fuel efficiency.
