Forsee Power to re-purpose electric bus batteries

UK / France – Forsee Power SAS* of Paris, France, has partnered with Connected Energy** to repurpose its batteries from electric city buses into the grid to store energy. This collaboration aims to extend the lifecycle of electric vehicle (EV) batteries, offering environmental and commercial benefits.
The joint initiative plans to launch its first 2.5 MWh energy storage system in the UK by the final quarter of 2025. This system will utilise retired Forsee Power batteries, transforming them into a resource for grid support and renewable energy integration. The partnership envisions scaling up to larger projects exceeding 25 MWh in the UK and France, aligning with the growing demand for sustainable energy storage solutions.
