For Forsee Power, the platform strengthens its route to market by easing customer access to financing and accelerating demand for its battery systems across public transport and commercial vehicle fleets.

Starting from 18 February 2027, batteries sold within the European Union, beginning with those used in electric trucks, buses, industrial machinery, and light commercial vehicles, will be required to carry a digital passport that provides comprehensive information on their lifecycle and sustainability credentials.

For Forsee Power, the partnership expands its footprint in the North American market, aligning with its strategy to invest in its North American operations in order to provide localised production for its customers.

The joint initiative plans to launch its first 2.5 MWh energy storage system in the UK by the final quarter of 2025. This system will utilise retired Forsee Power batteries, transforming them into a resource for grid support and renewable energy integration.

Certified for vehicle use, the company believes this new product will help Forsee enter new e-mobility markets (LCV and agriculture) and grow market share in existing territories. 

These 12-metre electric city buses will be built in New South Wales and feature a stainless steel chassis and aluminium side panels.

With a lifespan of 20 years, the 26 kWh battery utilises Yoshiba LTO cells and delivers double the power of the previous generation (Pulse 15) with a peak output of 400lW for ten seconds.

The company announced its 2024 financial results, with revenues down by EUR 19.5 million in 2024 at EUR 151.8 million compared with EUR 171.3 million in 2023.

These batteries will be ZEN LFP manufactured in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou in France and shipped to Turkey where the coach manufacturing is set to take place.

Forsee is set to supply Turkey’s OEM Bozankaya 12 and 18-metre trolleybus models with its ZEN PLUS and PULSE 15 battery systems.

This partnership will aid Forsee Power in growing its presence and meeting the necessary aftersales support of its Australian customers.

This factory represents a major investment and will focus on producing lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles, including buses, trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
