MCI opens full-service centre in southern California

USA – Earlier in May, the service centres business division of Motor Coach Industries of Des Plaines, Illinois opened a new location in Torrance, California, providing full-service support for all vehicles produced by the NFI Group.
MCI officially opened the new 35,000-square-foot facility on 1 May. It comprises twelve service bays and an outdoor wash station and provides body and paint services, refurbishment, fire restoration, and general repairs for not only MCI coaches but also Alexander Dennis, ARBOC, and New Flyer vehicles, using parts sourced through the NFI Parts network. The facility can perform original equipment diagnostics and repair high-voltage systems. There is also driver facilities and a 60-kilowatt charging station for electric vehicles.
