Canada / USA – After defaulting on its debt last year and obtaining creditor protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) in Canada, Canadian electric vehicle manufacturer, The Lion Electric Co, based in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec, received a surprise bid to take over the company which may rescue it from liquidation.
