Voith and Hendrickson announce strategic partnership on electric CV products

Germany / USA – In April, Hendrickson International of Woodridge, Illinois announced a strategic partnership with the American subsidiary of German components supplier Voith Turbo to develop new e-mobility products for the commercial vehicle segment.

The partners remain tight-lipped about the specifics, but it is plausible that Voith would combine its electric drive systems (including its expertise in motors, inverters, and transmissions) with Hendrickson’s axle products. Truck & Bus Builder reached out to Voith, whose reply stated only that the products will be unveiled in the spring of 2026.
