Italy – The Iveco Group based in Turin, has announced that Dutch finance company De Lage Landen International B.V. (DLL*) has agreed to purchase 51% of its digital pay-per-use rental model GATE (Green & Advanced Transport Ecosystem), subject to regulatory approval. The new entity will operate as a joint venture (JV) between the two companies. For Iveco, partnering with DLL provides valuable expertise in asset financing and financial services, which they anticipate will help expand their asset leasing business.
GATE offers flexible, long-term rental solutions for electric vehicles like the eDaily and Iveco S-eWay, bundling services such as maintenance, insurance, telematics, financing, and energy support into a single contract. Launched in Italy in 2023 and expanded to France and Germany in 2024, GATE’s digital-first ecosystem is designed to ease the adoption of sustainable fleets without heavy upfront investment.
