France – The Michelin Group of Clermont-Ferrand, France has launched a new range of truck tyres designed specifically for fuel-efficient and long-lasting performance in waste management and construction applications.

The ‘Michelin X Works Z2 & D2’ range comprises three types of tyre: a 315/80R22.5 specification which is available today; and 13R22.5 and 385/65 X Works HL Z2 specifications which will become available in September. These tyres feature a new tread design which reduces rolling resistance and noise and improves traction, offering robust performance in the most demanding conditions while realising fuel savings, according to Michelin.
