Fuso relocates KD parts warehouse to port city of Yokohama

MFTBC’s new Shin-Koyasu Global Logistics Center

Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), headquartered in Kawasaki City, in Japan’s Kanagawa Prefecture, announced that it has relocated its knocked-down (KD) export parts warehouse from Higashi Ohgishima in Kawasaki City to the Shin-Koyasu area of Yokohama City.

The new Shin-Koyasu Global Logistics Center, occupying a five-story building with a total floor area of approximately 120,000 sq m, is located a short distance from MFTBC’s main shipping port. This, combined with the new facility’s optimized layout and automated packing and sorting processes, will allow the truck-maker to reduce logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.
