UK / Japan – Last month at RTX (24-26 June at the NAEC Stoneleigh, in Warwickshire, UK), Japanese tyre manufacturer, Bridgestone Corporation, announced that it would be integrating its “Fleet Data Analytics and Advisory Services” into its “Fleet Care” digital platform. This now combines real-time telematics, tyre data, vehicle tracking, and AI-powered analytics into one platform, which provides tailored insights and performance recommendations for fleet operators. This is being sold to transport operators as “delivering intelligent, click‑and‑play insights that reduce fuel usage, lower total cost of ownership, and support environmental goals.” This system also includes the intelligent EV tools (battery monitoring, route‑planning, charging) and the robust PRO X Driver Terminal, designed for enhanced driver workflow and communication.

This is a wider industry change as tyre manufacturers are positioning themselves not just as tyre providers, but as “digital solutions partners”. According to the company, its newly launched analytics and advisory platform marks a milestone in fleet intelligence, delivering cost-efficient, sustainable, and connected transport solutions for the UK market.
