Iveco UK debuts CNG and Electric HGVs at RTX 2025

Iveco S Way 500 CNG

UK / Italy – Last month at RTX (24-26 June at the NAEC Stoneleigh, in Warwickshire, UK), Iveco Ltd of Basildon, the UK sales subsidiary of Turin-based Iveco Group, unveiled the S‑Way 500 CNG “Force of Nature”, a bespoke 6×2 tractor unit powered by a 500 hp xCursor 13 engine, capable of running over 500 km on biomethane. This one-off prototype, cloaked in striking green-and-black livery and equipped with eight integrated CNG tanks, showcased Iveco’s ongoing push toward renewable fuels.

Also making its UK public debut was the all-electric S‑eWay Rigid, Iveco’s first zero-emission heavy-duty vehicle for the domestic (right-hand drive) market. Completing the line‑up were the Eurocargo CNG, the X‑Way, and the flagship S‑Way 580, all reinforcing Iveco’s full‑spectrum decarbonisation strategy.
