Lars Stenqvist to step down as chief technology officer for Volvo

SwedenAB Volvo, the parent of several commercial vehicle brands1 based in Gothenburg, Sweden, has announced that Lars Stenqvist, who has served as chief technology officer for the group for nine years, will step down from the executive board while continuing to work for Volvo as a “senior leader”.

Stenqvist took up the executive role when he joined Volvo in 2016 from Volkswagen Truck & Bus in Brazil, where he was CTO and head of research and development. Prior to that, he held various senior positions at Scania.
