Mellor launches Maxima with redesigned front end

Mellor Maxima with new 'Sky View' windscreen
UK – Mellor Bus of Rochdale, UK has launched a re-style of its ‘Maxima’ line of accessible buses, featuring a larger windscreen and improvements to the interior to make it safer and more comfortable.
The front of the vehicle has been redesigned, featuring a new “Sky View” windscreen that eliminates the cab header panel and replaces it with glass. Not only has Mellor increased the internal headroom, but it has also made the interior of the bus brighter by letting in more light. The entrance door has been moved further to the front of the bus, closer to the driver, and the step well is now curved, which Mellor says will make it easier for passengers to safely enter the vehicle.
