Putzmeister introduces IoT tracking into production process

Germany – Putzmeister Holding GmbH, a manufacturer of truck-mounted pumps and mixer equipment based in Aichtal, Baden-Württemberg, announced that it has fully digitised its production process, allowing it to track every vehicle on the assembly line in real time.

Using an “Internet-of-Things” platform called ‘thingsHub’, developed by German company SmartMakers GmbH, Putzmeister can track the location and status of every vehicle in the production facility. By placing a tracker on each vehicle, plant managers can trace the entire production process on a digital map.
