Steve Jones to lead the alternative fuels division at Luxfer Gas Cylinders
UK – Luxfer Gas Cylinders Ltd of Manchester has appointed Steve Jones as Business Director of Alternative Fuels. The newly created role supports Luxfer’s global expansion in hydrogen and CNG mobility, as demand for clean fuel storage systems continues to grow. Based in Nottingham, Jones will lead the commercial rollout of products such as the Type 4 cylinder and the Hydrosphere MEGC system. His focus will be on accelerating the adoption of Luxfer’s storage technologies among OEMs, fleet operators and hydrogen integrators.
Jones brings over two decades of experience in hydrogen and renewable energy. He has held senior roles across hydrogen infrastructure, fuel cell integration and mobility project delivery. Luxfer said his appointment strengthens its commercial strategy at a time when the company is scaling up its alternative fuel systems and services.
