USA – In the past month, Mullen Automotive Inc, a manufacturer of electric vehicles based in Brea, California, changed its name to “Bollinger Innovations Inc” and carried out measures to consolidate its operations and improve its financial standing.

The company began trading under the new name and ticker symbol “BINI” on 28 July. In an effort to bring the company into compliance with Nasdaq’s $1 minimum bid price requirement, Bollinger Innovations effected a reverse stock split, converting its current shares on a 1-for-250 basis (i.e., 250 current shares will become a single issued and outstanding share of common stock). The company also successfully exchanged USD25.3m of convertible notes for preferred shares and eliminated all outstanding warrants, increasing its shareholder equity by approximately USD133m.
