UK – The UK government has announced a GBP 500 million funding package dedicated to building out vital hydrogen infrastructure across the country. This initiative, confirmed as part of the 2025 Spending Review, aims to establish the UK’s first regional hydrogen transport and storage network, connecting hydrogen producers with key end-users such as power stations, industry, and heavy transport sectors.
This marks a pivotal move in bolstering the hydrogen ecosystem, enabling clean energy deployment where it matters most and stimulating job creation across regions including Merseyside, Teesside, and the Humber.
