UK – The British bus and coach market grew for a ninth consecutive quarter in Q2 2025, growing by 62.5% to 2,968 registrations, according to statistics published by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

The market was led by the minibus segment, which grew by a staggering 99.7% from 907 to 1,803 units year-on-year. The other segments saw considerable growth too, with single-deck registrations increasing 20.9% from 536 to 648 and double deckers rising 33.6% from 387 to 517. The SMMT said that “rising passenger levels” are giving operators the “confidence to invest” in new vehicles.
