Nova Bus announces “hiring spree” as it takes on 300 new recruits in first half of 2025

Canada – Nova Bus Inc, a bus manufacturer and subsidiary of Volvo based in Saint-Eustache, Quebec, announced that it has been on a “hiring spree” since the beginning of the year, having grown its workforce by three hundred.

The company says its recruitment efforts have been supported by a government subsidy which applies to 180 of the 300 new hires it has made since the beginning of 2025. The government funds are paying for part of the salaries of the new recruits during their training period.
