Tata AutoComp to form JV with Ichikoh for automotive lighting venture in India

Tata AutoComp & Ichikoh form JV for Indian automotive lighting venture.
India / Japan - Tata AutoComp System Ltd1 of Pune, a subsidiary company of the Tata Group, has entered into an agreement to establish a 50:50 joint venture with Japanese automotive lighting specialist, Ichikoh Industries Ltd of Isehara, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan – a Valeo Group company. The joint venture will acquire Valeo’s Indian lighting business, operating currently under Valeo Lighting Systems (VLS), and oversee its operations within India - the agreement is subject to regulatory approval.
