Phinia “unapologetically” investing in combustion, says CTO Todd Anderson

USA – Phinia Inc continues “unapologetically” to invest in combustion technologies, which will remain viable throughout the next century, Todd Anderson, chief technology officer, told Truck & Bus Builder.
Nevertheless, the company is also investing time and resources in decarbonising combustion engines, and to this end it recently acquired Svenska Elektromagneter (SEM), whose expertise in ignition systems will support Phinia’s research and development into alternative fuels such as hydrogen.
