Hexagon Agility secures fuel system order from Gillig for CNG transit buses

USA – Hexagon Agility LLC, a producer of natural gas fuel systems based in Costa Mesa, California, announced that it has received a purchase order from Gillig LLC, the US bus manufacturer headquartered in Livermore, California, to supply Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fuel storage and delivery systems for its line of transit buses.
Gillig, one of the largest producers of heavy-duty transit buses in North America, is integrating Hexagon Agility’s lightweight Type IV composite CNG cylinders and complete fuel storage assemblies into its 40-foot and 60-foot low-floor buses, which are widely deployed in municipal fleets across the United States. Deliveries under the agreement will take place throughout 2025 and into 2026, supporting both new-build buses and fleet expansion projects in multiple US states.
