Canada – Canada’s first all-season, medium-speed autonomous shuttle has been launched in Kanata North Technology Park by UK-based Aurrigo International PLC, based in Coventry. Known as the Auto-Shuttle, the nine-seat vehicle is designed specifically for passenger transport and marks a significant milestone in the integration of electric and autonomous technology into commercial vehicles.

The shuttle is fully battery-electric and has been engineered to operate year-round in challenging weather conditions, including snow, ice, rain, and strong winds. This all-weather capability is crucial for Canada’s climate and sets the Kanata deployment apart from many other autonomous shuttle pilots, which have historically been restricted to fair-weather operation.
