Webasto to shed additional 300 jobs by end of 2025

Germany – Webasto SE, a supplier of roof systems, HVAC, and battery packs based in Stockdorf, Bavaria, has announced a further reduction in jobs – up to 300 – in Germany by the end of the year, as part of ongoing efforts to restructure the business.
The company said that, in order to simplify its organisational structure, it will eliminate certain leadership roles within the administrative departments of its sites in Stockdorf and Gilching. Three hundred positions are affected by the decision. Webasto says that affected employees will move to a “transfer company” which will provide support over the next twelve months.
