JAC Motors to take over diesel truck sales operation in Brazil

JAC Motors' medium-duty truck in Brazil

Brazil / China - The truck division of JAC Motors, a Chinese vehicle manufacturer, is to take over operations in Brazil. Currently, the company is represented in the country by the SHC Group. With this decision, the SHC Group will focus on importing electric cars and electric commercial vehicles, while JAC Motors, as an independent business, will be responsible for importing and selling diesel-powered trucks in the 9- to 25-ton gross vehicle weight (GVW) segments.

JAC Motors' first practical action in Brazil was its participation in the 33rd Fenabrave Congress, a national event that brought together the country's automotive dealership associations in São Paulo at the end of August. The event participation was aimed at establishing contact with large business groups to form its future dealership network in the country.
