Isuzu introduces new Erga fuel cell bus

Isuzu’s new Erga FCEV unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show 2025
Japan - Isuzu Motors Ltd, headquartered in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, introduced its next-generation fuel cell (FC) route bus, the Erga FCV, which it later displayed at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 at the end of October.
Isuzu confirmed that the Erga FCV was developed jointly with Toyota Motor Corporation, with Isuzu responsible for the planning, development, and design of the vehicle body, while Toyota provided the fuel cell system. The Erga FCV is based on the urban model of the ERGA EV, a battery-powered flat-floor route bus launched by Isuzu last year.
