Belgium / Netherlands – The components division of DAF Trucks N.V., based in Eindhoven, Netherlands, returned to Busworld Europe 2025 in Brussels with an expanded display of its latest PACCAR MX-11 and MX-13 engines, alongside a new mild-hybrid driveline developed for city buses. The company continues to position itself as a leading supplier of efficient, low-emission diesel and hybrid powertrains for the European and international bus and coach markets.
The latest Euro VI-E versions of the PACCAR MX-11 and MX-13 engines deliver higher efficiency and lower total cost of ownership, thanks to refinements in combustion design, air management and parasitic loss reduction. Both engines are compatible with 100% HVO biodiesel, supporting fleet decarbonisation without compromising range or performance. The MX-11 offers outputs from 220 kW (299 hp) to 330 kW (449 hp), while the MX-13 ranges from 315 kW (428 hp) to 390 kW (530 hp).
