Housing over 80,000 different parts, this new distribution centre will help Paccar provide better service to its local dealer network by reducing shipment times thus reducing vehicle downtime.

The company has established a new Power Solutions Department in Europe under its Paccar Parts Division to support its customers in transitioning from traditional diesel ICE trucks to electric trucks.

Customers can now order the Paccar TX-12 and ‘TX-12 PRO’ automated transmissions with the ‘Paccar PX-9’ engine for Peterbilt Models 548, 537, and 536.

Located in Byhalia, a town located in Marshall County (just on the Mississippi-Tennessee border near Memphis), the five-hundred-acre site will accommodate a two-million-square-foot plant by 2027.

The ‘Paccar MX-13’ with additional low-NOx aftertreatment is now being offered with Peterbilt’s Model 579, 567, and 589 trucks and with Kenworth’s T680, T880, and W990 trucks.

Paccar Connect provides operators with valuable fleet data relating to vehicle performance, fuel consumption, driver behaviour and GPS/logistical data helping operators run fleets more efficiently.

The TX-12 PRO automated transmission is now available with the heavy-duty Peterbilt Model 567 and 579 and the Kenworth T680 and T880.

The parent of DAF, Kenworth, and Peterbilt announced record sales revenue of USD35.13bn in 2023, a 22% improvement on its performance in the year before (USD28.82bn).

Paccar has installed its first on-site power supply system consisting of 750 solar panels, at the BEST DAF Trucks centre in Barendrecht, Netherlands. In combination with an energy storage system, the solar panels power the three superchargers, able to fast charge electric trucks (maximum output of 360 kW) leaving the workshop.
