Krone Group reports record year as revenues exceed EUR2bn

Germany - The Krone Group, the agricultural machinery and commercial trailer builder, based in Spelle, reported record revenues exceeding EUR2.1bn for its financial year 2017/2018 ending on July 31, 2018 and which also marked a significant increase over the previous year’s result of EUR1.9bn.

Sales within its home market of Germany accounted for EUR582.9m, a rise of EUR67.4m or 13.1% on the prior fiscal year. Two thirds or some 67.4% of domestic sales were accounted for by its commercial vehicles division (trailers and drawbar trailers) and the remaining 32.6% by the agricultural machinery business.
