Nikola unveils hydrogen fuel cell electric tractor for Europe

After announcing development of a hydrogen-electric truck for European markets back in November, the electric vehicle pioneer, Nikola Motor Company of Phoenix, Arizona, USA unveiled Nikola Tre at a major event held at its WestWorld facility in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Nikola Tre, which means ‘Three’ in Norwegian, was unveiled to invited guests from 49 countries last month. The Nikola Tre prototype was unveiled alongside other new zero-emission products from Nikola including the Nikola Two, which is scheduled for production in 2022 at a new site in Coolridge, Arizona – see article in this issue.
