Heuliez Bus gains largest order to date for electric city bus model

Heuliez Bus of Rorthais, France, a subsidiary of London-headquartered CNH Industrial NV, has received an order from QBUZZ (a Dutch public transport company) for 49 articulated Heuliez GX437 electric city buses to be used in the Groningen and Drenthe regions of The Netherlands.

The order is the largest to date for this model, Heuliez, the sister company of Iveco Bus, is scheduled to start deliveries of the 49 vehicles in December 2019; there is an option to replace a further 51 units within four years, which would result in the complete electrification of the entire regional bus network.
