France / Belgium - Heuliez Bus, the Rorthais-based citybus building subsidiary of Iveco Bus has designed and built the new 18m Iveco E-Way electric bus at Busworld. Featured on the main Iveco Bus stand, the E-Way is available in lengths of 9.5m, 12m or 18m articulated form and each is designed to be equipped with sufficient battery range to suit individual operational requirements. E-Way can be slow charged overnight or fast charged via pantograph. It features stainless steel framing and composite panelling.

A 12m fully loaded E-Way with a 350kWh power pack recently set a range record, under ideal conditions (using no heating or air conditioning) at an average of 46.6km/h equipped with summer tyres for 527km on a single charge. It ran on a test track in Germany from 10:00 to 21:41 and concluded the run with 4% battery remaining.
