Renault Trucks takes first major electric truck order of 20 units from Carlsberg

France / Switzerland - Renault Trucks SAS of Lyon, France, has signed a contract to supply 20, D Wide Z.E 26-tonne trucks to the Carlsberg Group’s Swiss subsidiary, the Feldschlösschen Brewery in Rheinfelden.
Bruno Blin, president of Renault Trucks, said: “It is the first order of this scale in Europe. It proves the transport sector is undergoing a major transformation and reflects an industrial and commercial reality: Our Renault Trucks electric trucks are rolling off the assembly line and will be on the roads of Europe in a few weeks’ time.”
