Over 500 electric buses in operation in Europe fitted with Hispacold HVAC systems

Spain - Announcing 14 electric Irizar ie buses, equipped with Hispacold’s ecological, silent and highly efficient EN air-conditioning systems will go into circulation on the streets of Génova from August 2020. The Seville-based HVAC specialist for buses, coaches and trains, says there are now more than 500 electric vehicles in operation throughout Europe with Hispacold’s HVAC technology. 

Hispacold at Busworld Europe in October introduced a new heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system called Breeze for both electrically powered and conventionally fuelled public transportation vehicles (city buses, intercity buses and coaches) and for all climatic and environmental zones. It is offered in three power ratings of 100, 200 and 300 with the middle one, Breeze 200, being the most common one used with cooling capacities of 38kW, 41kW and 44kW.
