Germany / Sweden – Traton SE of Munich and RISE, the Research Institutes of Sweden based in Gothenburg, have announced they are collaborating on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI). A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in February setting out terms for a long-term cooperation that will focus initially on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, but the area of cooperation is to be flexible over time, the Traton Group stressed.
Christian Levin, Traton Board member responsible for Research & Development (R&D) and chief operating officer, said: “Innovation is an important pillar of our Global Champion Strategy. The cooperation with RISE will foster our development of new competences on very important technologies.”
